Everything about Fresh Breeze Organic Dairy in Lynden, Wash. is organic. We're talking the cows, feed and land, the pasteurization, bottling and delivery processes — everything. In fact, they're the only Washington dairy to do it all organically, and as a fifth generation farm, they know a thing or two about producing quality milk.
Fresh Breeze milks around 100 cows, which graze on 350 acres of pasture and cropland, some of which is the same land their family farmed in the late 1800s. Using a vat pasteurization system, they pasteurize at a lower heat, which retains the good proteins thereby creating a richer flavor, while any pathogens that may be present are still destroyed.
Look for fat free, low fat, reduced fat and whole milk from Fresh Breeze at all PCC stores.
