It’s possible to repel pesky mosquitoes or other irritating insects without having to douse yourself in a film of chemicals. Most insect repellents contain DEET, which is classified as a pesticide by the EPA. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the safety of DEET, and how much is too much. New York State along with Health Canada and the U.S. Military have banned DEET products with a concentration greater than 30%, due to potential dangers. Thankfully, there are effective alternatives, and PCC carries three natural bug repellents to help protect your skin without compromising your health.
